Re: CSHeat increasing ppm.

Meters do not measure PPM, they detect conductivity.
Hot water is more conductive than cool water.
To be more precise, electrons are carried in a liquid by electro-chemical
ion exchanges.

Heat speeds up the chemical reactions.

Excellent feedback Ode, I have noticed that there are different meters
(PWT, TDS and others) and read that the typical meter is claibrated for
NaCl and not Ag. What do you recommend so that I can get a resonable
consistance in my solutions.
All else being consistant i.e. Water purity, water aggitation and 14V 360mA
power source.
Thanks, Lou

Forgot to mention, I use a simple TDS meter.

May have something to do with body acidity, but that's just a guess.

Thanks Dan, I did find that citrus does cause it. I also get the urgency
too as well as the cramps/spasms.

Yah, probably the citric acid.
thanks again,

CSNeed help

2012-09-23 Thread Kathy Tankersley
My little shih-tzu dog, male about 7 tears old has started pulling out his tail
and chewing on the spot, He's got the place sore now, I've been putting on CS,
but he keeps it raw, Does anyone have any idea why he is doing this and how to
treat it? Thanks, Kathy

There is a gland in the anus that needs to be
squeezed once in awhile. This can be done
while bathing the dog.
Try it and see if it helps.

Re: CSNeed help

2012-09-23 Thread V
My dog did this but was under a year at the time. I was told to look for
wheat and corn allergies and that is what it was. I didn't have to go
through any long elimination diets as cutting wheat and corn solved the
problem. Grain free blends in specialty feed stores all pretty good. The
stuff in supermarkets is always full of corn and cheap grains.
Worth a try at least. Good Luck, Val
