Re: CSArthritic shoulder

2013-07-28 Thread Lena Guyot
There's a great recipe by Brooks Bradley that I bottle in larger amounts and
then use in conjunction with whatever effect I'm seeking, putting them into my
array of 1oz roll-ons, labeled and at the ready.
75% CS, 15% aloe or glycerine, and 10%DMSO, (added last as it will heat up
chemically if added before something else).
DMSO is still very effective in its delivery in this surprisingly small amount.

To Brook's mix, I can add arnica tincture, for damaged muscles, tendons,
or Gotu Kola, or cedar oil for psoriasis,
or Tagamet or reducing the acidity of a highly acid condition,
or Lugol's Iodine for an infected wound.
The list goes on and I'm sure you all have favorite things you use that you'd
like to deliver trans-dermally.

Be well,
Léna

Of course, you should dilute DMSO with distilled water by about 50% when
 using a 90 - 99% pure liquid DMSO product.

The first time you apply DMSO you may experience some stinging/burning. It's
uncomfortable but bearable. It lasts anywhere from 20 mins to 2 hrs. The
more you use the DMSO in the same area, the less the reaction. It is almost
like DMSO relieves it's own discomfort..lol..
One of the best things to use to offset any drying effects that you have with
DMSO is organic coconut oil. You can eat the stuff so you know the coconut
 oil won't harm you.

If it were me, I would dilute the DMSO considerably and apply it and the
capsaisin to a very small area at first just to see how painful it gets. In
other words (I am chicken) I would work up slowly and see how it goes before
slathering on straight DMSO and the capsaisin on a large area. If it starts
burning like heck and gets real uncomfortable, you are stuck and will just
have to wait it out, right? Good luck and God bless. Lola H.

In yahoogroups the directions are located at the bottom of almost every

Make sure that your e-mail address appears correctly in the From: field of your
message, and that the word unsubscribe is spelled correctly. If you make a
mistake the list server will not understand what you want it to do!

If you are not sure which version you're signed up for, try unsubscribing from
both. The worst that will happen is you'll get an extra message saying your
name was not in the subscriber file of the one you're not on!

If your current e-mail address is different than the one you subscribed under
originally you will not be able to unsubscribe yourself. Contact the list
