CS>CS and Sinus Infection

2005-11-27 Thread Andy Gill
I have been fighting to head off a sinus infection using CS. In an effort to
open my sinuses to better get the CS to where they are needed I made a 1:1
mixture of Walgreen's nose spray (to open the passages) and CS. Could the
"mixture" inactivate the CS?

Can CS react with other chemicals and inactivate it? Say like the Gatorade?

Any better suggestions on battling the sinus infection?

  Thanks,

CS>What happened?

2005-09-22 Thread Andy Gill
I made a batch of CS/EIS that was a clear pale yellow. After letting it sit
for 2-3 days I added 2 drops/8 oz of 3% H2O2 expecting it to "clear" it. It
turned a cloudy "tea" color. I ended up adding more H2O2 a day later and it
finally cleared but you can really taste the H2O2 (too much). Any ideas? Did
I do something wrong?

CS>Magnetic CS-How can I identify the poles of the magnets?

2005-07-05 Thread Andy Gill
contac...@kjmagnetics.com

How can I identify the poles of the magnets?
There are several simple methods that can be used to identify the North and
South poles of neodymium magnets.
1) The easiest way is to use another magnet that is already marked. The North
pole of the marked magnet will be attracted to the South pole of the unmarked
magnet.
2) If you take an even number of magnets and pinch a string in the middle of
the stack and dangle the magnets so they can freely rotate on the string, the
North pole of the magnets will eventually settle pointing North. This actually
contradicts the "opposites attract" rule of magnetism, but the naming
convention of the poles is a carry over from the old days when the poles were
called the "North-seeking" and "South-seeking" poles. These were shortened
over time to the "North" and "South" poles that we know them as.
3) If you have a compass handy, the end of the needle that normally points
North will be attracted to the South pole of the neodymium magnet.

I wanted to run something by the "brain trust" on the silver-list. I recently
read an email newsletter (http://www.jonbarron.org/documents/water.htm) by
Jon Barron on "Water". In this a newsletter he talks about improving the
bio-availability of water by magnetizing it. He also shows a low cost way to
do it yourself (appealling to us alternative health mavericks). I have begun
to make my own "magnetized" water and as Jon wrote (see excerpts below) the

to make my own "magnetized" water and as Jon wrote (see excerpts below) the
water IS noticably different "wetter?".

My questions are:
1. If the magnetizing does indeed improve bioavailability, could it improve
the uptake (bioavailability) of CS therefore enhancing its effects?
2. Which would be a better: Use magnetized water to make CS or make CS and
then magnetize?
3. Could the magnetizing of CS impair, neutralize or lessen its effects?

Thanks,
Andy Gill

"Magnetizing your drinking water breaks its surface tension, making it wetter
and more useable by every cell in your body. In addition, there's a strong
secondary benefit. Applying a magnetic field to water cannot only make it
wetter, but it can also raise its pH (up to a full point, depending on the
water).."

"The difference is not subtle. Over the past couple of years, Kristen and I
have had at least 100 people over our house who have taste tested the water.
First they take a drink of the water that comes from our filter. Then they
taste the same water that has been magnetized. NOT ONE of those 100 has failed
to notice the difference. The standard comment is, "It tastes wetter." The
difference is that pronounced!"

Small cluster (magnetized) water significantly enhances your body's ability to
absorb nutrients (including all of the vitamins and minerals). And it also aids
remarkably in any detoxification programs you run. (As a side note, it also
makes any prescription drugs you take more "effective" for the very same
reasons -- something to keep in mind if you use such things.)" Excepts from

CS>Colds>SInus infection and CS Testimony

2005-05-12 Thread Andy Gill
I just wanted to give a little testimony on my use of CS. I read the following
excerpt below in an article on mercola.com. Having allergies and colds my
experience exactly mirrored what the Dr. said. Most times my 1st symptom of a
cold coming on was that my nose beagn to pour mucous. Assuming this was "bad"
I began to take decongestants which stopped the "pouring" of the mucous but
more times than not turned into a sinus infection.antibiotics. You know
the drill. This last go around about 2 months ago got me researching CS and if
it could work on my sinus infections. Well about 2 weeks ago I woke up at 4 AM
with my nose pouring mucous. This time (armed with my knowledge from the
article and my CS) I decided to change my strategy. Instead of the
decongestants I sprayed several shots of CS up my nose and drank about an oz
holding it under my tongue for several minutes. I went back to bed and woke up
the next morning with no runny nose and best of all no eventual sinus
infection. So I guess it does work on sinus infections even better by
preventing them? Praise the Lord!

AG

Excerpt from Insulin and Its Metabolic Effects by Ron Rosedale, MD
"If you have a cold and you go to the doctor, you have a runny nose. I did Ear,
Nose and Throat (ENT) for 10 years so I know what the common treatment for that
is, a decongestant. I can't tell you how many patients I saw who had been given
Sudafed by their family doctors for a cold who then came to see me afterward
because of a really bad sinus infection.

What happens when you treat the symptom of a runny nose from a cold and you
take a decongestant? Well, it certainly decongests you by shutting off the
mucus, but why do you have the mucus? ItÂ’s because your body is trying to clean
and wash out the membranes. What else is in mucus? Secretory IgA, a very strong
antibody to kill the virus. If there is no mucus, there is no secretory IgA.

Decongestants also constrict blood vessels, the little capillaries, or
arterioles, that go to those capillaries, and the cilia, the little hair-like
projections that beat to push mucus along to create a stream. They get
paralyzed because they don't have blood flow, so there is no more ciliary
movement.

What happens if you dam a stream and create a pond?

In days you've got larvae growing, but if the stream is moving, you are fine.
You need a constant stream of mucus to get rid of and prevent an infection. I
am going into this in some detail because in almost all cases, if you treat a
symptom you are going to make the disease worse. The symptom is there as your
body's attempt to heal itself."

2005-04-11 Thread Andy Gill

I wanted to run the following "claims" by the brain trust for accuracy. They
come from the following
http://www.gaiaresearch.co.za/guideI.html#81.%20COLLOIDAL%20SILVER

My questions are:

1. IS 30-volts the optimum?

2. Does an AC unit produce a "damaging 50-60Hz electromagnetic pulse being
emitted to and by the transformer" that damages the CS and therefore requires
it to be insulated?

3. Do 30-volts and 40 milliamps insure "an + - equal ionic and atomic
colloidal silver yield"?

4. IS the shelf life only 4-7 days unless you use the "hot water method"
"because of limited shelf-life (4-7 days) if not manufactured via the "hot"
distilled water method"?

Thanks,

POLHelp

Excerpts from above web page."A new, optimal performance 30-volt direct
current unit. This is as opposed to the conveniently configured 3 X 9 volt = 27
volt units generally available, which provide adequate, but not optimal
performance. Using 4 X 9 volt = 36 volts is not a solution, since 33 volts are
the upper limit for producing single atomic nuclei microclusters, rendering it
better to have too low than to high a voltage. Mark Metcalf, whose classic and
widely disseminated article "Banishing Disease With Three 9-Volt Batteries",
spawned the modern electro-colloidal silver production and usage revolution,
and Bob Beck, retired physics professor at the University of Southern
California, who conceived and designed the basic unit advocated for that
purpose, both consider 30 volts low voltage direct current (LVDC) to be the
ideal for modern electro- ionisation/colloidalisation for human oral usage.

Alternating current (AC) units, even if correctly regulated to 30 volts, have
the drawback of not being fully portable (reliant on mains supply) and
requiring effective insulation of the ionic solution/colloid from the colloid
damaging 50-60Hz electromagnetic pulse being emitted to and by the transformer.
This new Gaia design is a fully portable direct current (DC) unit, manufactured
locally by electronics professionals exclusively for Gaia Research to our
unique functional specifications, regulated to 30 volts and 40 milliamps, to
ensure an + - equal ionic and atomic colloidal silver yield,

We do not recommend your entering into public commercial
production/distribution for any medicinal purpose, since you are unlikely to be
able to measure and consistently certify the exact strength of each batch and
furthermore, because of limited shelf-life (4-7 days) if not manufactured via
the "hot" distilled water method, it is unlikely to maintain maximum potency
and viability for reasonable standing periods via the standard quick production
procedure, "

Dear friends,

Before everybody gets in a rip about this, I have sent an
uncharactersitically angry message to this Bailar person explaining to
them that such arrogant and insulting behavior is *NOT* welcome on the
Silver List and demanding an apology as condition for their continued
participation.

Did I mention that I was angry?

I guess I am "easily moved to a state of being astounded" at this
person's rudeness to Sol.

I think it would be best if we let that thread drop and get on with the
task of helping those who are actually appreciative of our community.

Sorry for the less than level-headed response. Even my patience has
limits.

Be well,

Mike Devour
silver list owner

Sol,

You write:

<>

I did not use the word harsh, did I? And I didn't ask you, did I?

<>

You are easily moved to a state of being astounded then. You must be
astounded many times a day.

<>

I'm not sure I'm interested in the effort entailed. I used Trem's
machine according to directions. In my original post I noted it was a
good machine but the silver was not effective. In addition, other lyme
patients AND a molecular biologist I respect, Stephen Levine, have said
enough good things about natural immunogenics that I'm willing to try
it.

<>

Well then, Sol, I submit that you are too easily astounded and far too
difficult to arouse to a state of natural (and should I add,
benevolent?) curiosity.

<< because
you sound like you are just repeating sales pitches from natural
immunogenics.>>

Really? How did I give a sales pitch?

<>

Whom in the group do you speak for? I got some very nice private emails
after my post, btw.

Just wait for my report. You'll get an honest report if it helps and if
it doesn't.

<>

You'll have to do your own DD (due diligence) as they say in the
financial world. I am not beguiled enough by your courtesy,
thoughtfulness, curiosity, and equanimity to go to the effort of giving
you more detail. In fact, I am not going to respond to further posts of
yours.
