Yes, the list rules are that we avoid politics and religion quite
scrupulously, for the reason that we are a diverse community here
that *WILL* disagree vehemently over just about anything you can
bring up on either of these subjects.

We've learned this from hard and unpleasant experience, and I don't
 want to see it repeated.

Our aim is to learn more about CS and a few closely related topics,
to support one another in our efforts to be healthy, and to help
others who are interested in finding out what we've learned.

That said, I want you to know I am one of the most enthusiastic
students of politics you'll ever meet. (Just look at my .sig!) I
agree that few of us in today's world deserve the luxury of being
apolitical, since neglect of the political process has caused many of
 the serious problems we face.

I damn well guarantee you that I could start a discussion that will
tear this list apart in no time! I am intensely interested in most
of the issues you'd want to bring up, including the circus down on
the Potomac. There isn't one person here I couldn't offend with at
least one of my strongly held beliefs. GRIN

But I'll restrain myself, because I respect why this community has
gathered here. I know that many of our members' time and stamina is
limited by illness, and I don't want to lose the chance to help those
 who need it most.

There are so many good forums for political discussions that I don't
feel deprived because I can't have them here.

Oh, and Sandy, I *am* here, reading every post that comes through.
But I don't filter them before they go out. I think we all appreciate
the fast turn around of instant forwarding enough to put up with the
occasional off-topic posts or minor controversies that will get
through. I don't want you to have to wait until I have a chance to
read my mail before you can start getting answers to your questions.

I depend on each of you to help preserve our focus and the
friendliness of our exchanges. And of course there's the seldom used
but very big hammer in my toolbox that I reserve for the *tough*
 cases. WILD EYED STARE G

 Be well,

  Hello everyone,
You haven't been hearing much from me, but I am paying attention to

  Many
read the list and never post anything. I just started a website and am

referring people to the list. I am very much glad that everyone is
  staying
  completely out of political matters.
One question that I have for you all is this. Does the CS work in
  our
systems because we have a need for silver in our body or blood
  chemistry, or
does it work like a pesticide is used to kill insects in a garden or
  both? I
am now writing a book on organic gardening, and one thing I have
  personally
noticed is that when the soil provides all nutrients that a plant
  needs and
the environment is right, the plants are not susceptible to diseases
  or
insects. Of course when disease or insects harm your garden, men seek
  to
destroy them through pesticides. They are only treating the symptoms.
  The
better thing to do is to provide optimum growing conditions so that
  there
would be no problems in the first place. Perhaps if you were depending
  on the
food, you would do both. You would deal with the disease or insect,
  and then
  root out the cause.
I believe that this is the course that should be followed. In every
  case a
better diet working in conjuction with CS will make the outcome
  better. Though
for a while symptoms may worsen while the body rebuilds and sheds
  toxic
substances from the body. This is what requires wisdom. When a
  treatment is
effective you may feel worse for a while. There is much to be learned
  and
there are different conditions that a person may be in. It would be
  hard to
find someone will say that a poor diet is what is needed to regain
  health. I
am also going to send a post on the dangers of aspartame. There is
  much
information there and it may help someone. Please don't be offended
  because it
is OT. Remember, it may save a life. Think about that. Besides it

Looks like Dr. Beck's method has once again been validated! Don't know
what new research this is going to lead to? as these type of simple and
effective methods don't attract any funding or profits. The death of
microbes etc has been known for over 100 yrs and they are still doing
 research!

Hi all ! I just read this fascinating short news story in the new issue

White cells (leucocytes) kill bacteria and pathogenic fungus by
electrocuting them. Discovered by Jacques Schrenzel and Karl Heinz
Krause
(Geneva University Hospital, Switzerland), this defence mechanism is
triggered as soon as receptors of the white cell detect the microbe's
presence. This signal activates an enzymatic system on the leucocyte's
membrane, composed of a sleeping enzyme (NADPH oxydase) and co-enzyme
(NADPH). The reaction begins by the enzyme waking up, receiving
electrons
from its co-enzyme, and transporting them through the membrane. Ejected
out
of the white cell, this electronic flux is focused towards the bacteria
by
means of oxygen molecules. And the microbe dies. This discovery might
open
new lines of research on immunity deficiencies in patients who are
deprived
 of this enzymatic system..

Sorry, no comment here. I'm still in shock !

subcutaneous boils

1998-08-30 Thread GREEN/SHULMAN
My 21 year old daughter is frequently developing a boil under the skin,
where her thigh meets her groin. Needless to say, these are very painful.
Sometimes, she has difficulty in walking. Last time, her MD recommended an
antibiotic, and it disappeared briefly, only to reappear in a month. Of
course, I don't think it disappeared at all. Now her MD wants her to take
an antibiotic for a month. I AM NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS. She will comply
because of her discomfort. Is there anything in the world of oxytherapy or
colloidal silver, which may help? I would appreciate any help offered.

Thanks,
Sandy

For Thyroid take a look at http://www.wilsonssyndrome.com I did and the
treatment is predictable, repeatable and works. It is low body temp and
normal thyroid tests. Helped me tremendously. It is T3 sustained
release every twelve hours. If you think this might be you get the books
and take the temps and ask for a doc near you who does this. It is
actually multiple enzyme dysfunction due to subnormal temps--even if you
feel \hot your temp may only be 97.6 or so. amazing how accurate and
simple a clinical trial of this can be in helping . The books explain it
 to you easily. Susan
