Re: CSFW: The man who regrew a hand. (Actually the tip of one finger) darn.

1999-12-28 Thread Marshall Dudley
I stand corrected then. I could have sworn it was a hand, but I guess my
memory is failing me. It certainly wan't on purpose. Still quite remarkable
though. I am pretty sure the Body Electric by Bob Becker also speaks of
regrowth of the end of fingers as well.

 James,
Well, it's a little exaggerated to say he regrew a hand. It was the tip of
a finger between the last knuckle and the base of the fingernail. It was
done using silver bandages with a tiny electric current diffusing the
silver into the wound along with various frequencies I believe. It also
followed the injury and was not after the wound had healed.
The Trauma Surgeon who did it was Bart Flick in Ga just across the TN/GA
border-I can't remember the town. The last known email address I have for
 him is (Bart Flick) argen...@stc.net.
 I hope this helps
 Matt

the healing. It's pretty awesome stuff! The bandages that were used are
called SILVERLON and they are made for a company called Argentum

My main question is not of the miraculous healing, but of why the FDA has
approved the SILVERLON bandages, which work because they are 99% pure silver
and 1% silver oxide and yet the FDA supports the bashing of silver in it's
 colloidal form.

On a side note, thank goodness we're finely getting back on topic.
