Re: CSHelp with distiller
I have an OdeV counter top distiller and it works by me filling it up to the maximum line with water which I have boiled in a kettle from cold, as this speeds up brewing time. I then put on the top which has a fan in it - screw it on and plug in the plug which is attached to the top and this then allows the fan to run. I then put a container under the spout--mine is purpose made with a screw on lid with a little hole in it. The top of the distiller has a spout which fits into this hole. I tip off the first little bit of water and then just allow it to carry on until it turns itself off. This gives me three and a half litres of distilled water which is just perfect for making CS. dee On 31 Dec 2010, at 05:48, beitharm...@gmail.com wrote: Hi, Thanks for everyone who replied so nicely to me about the issues of PTSD. It works with a fan and the boiling method. I have no idea about these things - and what I need to know. Does someone have experience with this particular machine or with a similar one? Is it ok to make CS with the water it produces? Take care, Joy -- -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. Re: CSHelp with distiller
Hi Joy, I've entered the name and model number of many an appliance in google and usually something turns up, or leads that leads to something else. There are lots of sites that have reprints or downloads of instructions, and repair manuals, so I wouldn't give up if I were you. If it's truly a distiller, the water should be fine for making CS. I once tried to make CS with distilled water to which I'd added Prill beads , and the Silver Puppy shut off almost immediately (it was set on auto), indicating that the conductivity was high enough to make the Puppy think the water was finished. Anything other than distilled water will do this with a SilverPuppy on 'auto', Don't know about other generators.
