Check the shipping rates and then compare Jeffers to Omaha Vaccine. With Jeffers if you order $75 there is no shipping or handling. I have long ordered from both companies, many different farm supplies, Jeffers may have higher prices on a few items but the over all total was less due to shipping and handling charges. Jeffers will charge handling under $75 but it is a flat $6 charge. Yes and not everyone wants a #10 pail. Personally I buy it from a distributor in #25, but I use it for many animals and people. It is also very stable if you have the room to store it. MA, That sounds like a great price. I wish I could use it in that quantity but about 3 lbs. at a time is my tolerable limit. I get empty capsules from AmeriHerb and fill them with several things that I get in powder form. It doesn't take all that long to do. It is essential to life, and a major component of all living things. It is an element that is quite often overlooked as a nutrient, but yet is an important ingredient in several of the very critical amino acids that make up the proteins contained in our muscles, enzymes and other constituents in our body. Sulfur is in the proteins which constitute basic hair, nails and skin. Dietary sulfur can be incorporated into cysteine, cystine and glutathione. Animal studies using radioactive tracers show that the sulfur in MSM can even be utilized to prepare methionine. Key proteins dependent on, for example, the important oxidation-reduction partners cysteine and cystine include:Ý MSM is an abbreviation for Methyl-Sulfonyl-Methane. It is a natural form of sulfur found in all living organisms and is present in our body fluids and tissues. It is found in many fresh foods including most fresh fruits and vegetables, milk and some grains. Even though it is present in fresh foods, it is easily destroyed in cooking, storing and processing. Due to modern food processing and cooking, sufficient MSM may not be present to provide significant biological sulfur, so it makes sense to incorporate MSM as part of your dietary supplement program when supplemental sulfur is desired-especially for vegetarians as they may have a shortage of sulfur in their diets.
