Listers:

To all interested in Microdyn:

I am not a representative or salesperson for Microdyn. I am a happy
consumer of same, and happen to live in Mexico, where it is readily (and
cheaply) available.

At one time, I sold a diluted (800ppm) version of Microdyn over the
internet, but never made any money at it, with high Mexican postal rates, and
the necessary Visa/Mastercard monthly fees. I obtained my supply from a local
dealer, who would only sell to me by the case (600 25-ml bottles at about 60
cents each)

In the past, I attempted to obtain U.S. distribution rights for Microdyn,
but discussion with the company head indicated that this was impossible at that
time. The company was at maximum production, and he did not envision
increasing production capability. My request was thus rejected, because there
was no product available. What Microdyn did, to expand its availability
without increasing production, was to reduce the size of its bottles from 25
ml. to 15 ml., at the same price. (This was before the 1-liter bottles were
available.) The patent for Microdyn is held by the Mexican government, and has
been for 40 years.

Microdyn is produced by: Roland de Mexico, Asturias #58, 03400 Mexico,
District Federal, Mexico. Its (incomplete) telephone number is 5538-20-68.
(What is lacking is the Mexico City area code, probably available from a
long-distance operator, as well as the international code (011) and the country
code (52). There are no English-speakers at the company.

I know that the 1-liter bottles are available at major dealers (Sam's Club
in Acapulco, for one) and probably at larger drug and food stores along the
border.

There are other, supposedly equally potent versions of CS for sale in
Mexico, under the names of Bio-Pur, Bac-Dyn, and others that escape me at the
moment. I stick with Microdyn, for it has proven extremely safe and effective,
after 8 years of industrial consumption. Six months of Bio-Pur turned my nails
blue, whereas 8 years of Microdyn did not.

Please don't ask me to buy Microdyn and mail it to you. I don't have the
time for such an endeavor. Come to Mexico on vacation next year, and buy
yourself a 5-year supply.

Regards,
Bill Missett
