PRP most often starts as a patchy rash on the scalp, face or chest. Over a period as short a several weeks it extends downward, and often covers much of the body. It spares areas of old scars and injuries, and leaves small islands of entirely unaffected skin. The rash has an orange-red color (salmon) and the palms and soles become thickened. Rough, dry plugs can be felt within the rash. The itching is usually severe at first, and then later is not as bad as you would think considering how bad the rash looks. A friend has just developed the condition and I had never heard of it before. Hoping someone out there knows something. Dianne

Dianne Hi Dianne, I've never heard of it before either but if I had it I would try Brooks Mix on a small area see if it works. --- 76% CS {EIS}--10% DMSO--15% glycerin. Put the DMSO in last--The mixture will get warm but that's OK.. shake it a bit before each use.. It is great for many, many skin conditions, shingles, psoriasis, athletes foot, on on...Lois { There is a suggestion to use Aloe Vera in place of glycerin..}

Is DMSO a carrier; that is, does it help to more effective carry stuff in the blood? Olushola On Sun, Aug 19, 2012 at 10:18 AM, zzekel...@aol.com wrote: ** In a message dated 8/18/2012 4:07:43 P.M. Yes. It's a carrier. Also helps cells absorb good stuff and detox bad stuff. Here's a site devoted to all of it's many benefits: DMSO DMSO dimethylsulfoxide-d...@yahoogroups.com Be well, Léna On Aug 19, 2012, at 4:08 PM, olushola camara wrote: Is DMSO a carrier; that is, does it help to more effective carry stuff in the blood? Hi Dianne, I only have bad psoriasis, but some say the skin is the third kidney, others say that rashes are manifestations of an overburdened liver, so searching in the direction of methods of detox and supporting the liver certainly wouldn't hurt.
