Homeopathic remedy rhus tox will clear it up quickly, but needs to be taken with no caffeine for a couple days to be most effective. Can also, taken early in the spring for a couple weeks, just one tablet (rather than regular dosing) daily, help you develop an immunity. You can also do this by actually using disposable gloves and a tweezers to pluck a tiny new leaf from a poison ivy plant, stuff it in an empty gelatine capsule and swallow it - once a day for a couple weeks.
