That may not be entirely without merit. The thing about Vitamin C (which I
am a huge fan of) is that it behaves differently in small doses to large
doses. It is speculated that in small doses a cancer can use its
anti-oxidant properties to protect itself. In large doses, when it becomes
concentrated it can actually make a small amount of H2O2, but only
intracellularly, not willy nilly all over the body causing damage, therefore
becoming a pro-oxidant like MMS and others. It's been shown that
pro-oxidants are not friendly to cancers. Vitamin C and Glucose (which
cancer likes) are extremely similar in molecular structure, and it is
speculated that this is the reason Vitamin C can reach a cancer where other
therapies cannot. More than that, Lipoic Acid (I would suggest R-ALA over
others) can help the Vitamin C to be recycled (480% more usefulness in
studies I saw), and does have some mercury chelation properties (not sure
about Iron - need to look into that one). Oral Vit C can out perform even
IV if done properly.

". For example, a prestigious Brit medical entity a few years back
published a study that indicated that Vitamin C in theraputic doses causes
Cancer. "
