Almost 8 months. Got it a Bed, Bath, Beyond and dealt with their manager. Have since bought 3 more as Christmas gifts to family, so if I have any problems, I have manager Chris to contact. One thing: screw the thing down tightly enough and pay attention to the max-level line. I think that's when people get overflow. I had that once, immediately up-ended the power base, rapped it sharply on the counter to drain the overflow, and carefully dried it. Hasn't happened since. Tightly screwing down means that unscrewing can be hard for morning-achy hands, so I've put a wide rubber band around the large cup for better traction. I don't have a Vitamix, but two of my friends do and they don't seem to mind what difference there may be, preferring the convenience and handier size of the Nutribullet. One gave her visiting son a NutriBullet and he sort of sneered at it, saying he already had a Vitamix. After a few day's visit, he was as sold on the thing as she was! The NutriBullet has two cutter heads: one for smoothies and juices and one for making nut-butters, flours, and grinding coffee beans. I haven't used that second cutter yet as it's tucked in a drawer. One gave her visiting son a NutriBullet and he sort of sneered at it, saying he already had a Vitamix. After a few day's visit, he was as sold on the thing as she was! I think the MagicBullet was 250 watts, and the Nutribullet is 600 watts. I don't know the wattage of the Vitamix. I do know it's powered friction can heat the food: the Nutribullet can't do that. No, I don't have any commercial, vested interest in this product and I don't know how durable it will be, long-term, but it's performed well for almost 8 months.
