Putting peanut oil on pitted skin, say on a gauze or cotton piece saturated with the oil so it can soak in for a while, has worked for some people with acne pits. Reports were that it actually soaked into the pits and over time the surface leveled out. Don't know about your particular case. I also know that my step-mother got rid of a discolored scar on the face from an infected insect bite with repeated applications of Coconut Oil. I had an open sore from a burn which became infected and destroyed all the skin in that part. After the infection had been killed, it would not heal up, but after one application of castor oil (soaked bandage over this spot for a day) it began to heal immediately. In this case there was a scar, but the skin is smooth and near normal. I think if I had continued with applications of oils over a long time the scar tissue would have been absorbed.

I also had excellent healing of cuts and sores with applications of cotton soaked with CS and a drop of DMSO for penetration. (Plain CS on the surface can heal the surface and leave infection below where it doesn't penetrate.)

You would have to decide if this is appropriate in your case. You can certainly do some of this stuff after the skin has healed if you don't want to use it before.

Thanks Raine I am also curious about the way Cansema works. Is it true that it only effects cancerous skin? !My nose is now pitted, like a bad case of acne. Pete

Raine et al, I am just repeating this msg as I know many are still and have been on vacation, and probably have let their 'puters rest for a few days. I am at a quandary rather to reapply Cansema to my nose, not knowing if I got most of the cancerous material. I also wonder if the dents(pits) on the nose will ever smooth out. Currently I have a 2nd shedding about to take place on the front top point of nose which had been purple. I would welcome any responses or experiences similar to mine if any. Pete
