I accidently ran into this site and what I could understand sound

They are using other substances for transport, like DMSO, but the
similarity ends there. DMSO transports by dissolving the substance,
then diffusing as a solution though the skin or other substance. They
are talking about binding substances to peptides and using that to allow
transport through biological barriers. This is closer to chelation,
than DMSO. The substance to be transported through the barrier is
hidden by or inside the peptide, so that the barrier does not see it,
and givea the ok for the peptide to cross the barrier. That is why they
are referring to it as a Trojan horse. The comparison is like if you
want to get a drug to go through some filter paper, you would dissolve
it into some water, or DMSO, and it would then have the mobility to flow
through the paper. But if you want to get it into a police station with
monitors at the door, you put it inside a candy bar or something.
