The use of H2O2 isn't about the peroxides  anti microbial capabilities so much as it's about breaking up larger CS particles into smaller  ones.
It needn't be food grade and only a few drops per quart are used.

I would recommend taking the CS internally (it will act immediately agains 
pathogens) while using anywhere from one cup to one pint of 35% food grade h2o2 
in a long (45 min to 1 hr) bath (be very careful while handling it and don't 
get it in your eyes while bathing).  This will give you the best of both with 
the least amount of risk.  Even Ed McCabe no longer recommends taking h2o2 
orally (there are other, safer ways of increasing your internal oxygen levels).
