Re: CSbreaks down collagen

I should have qualified my statement. DMSO has been observed to
flatten scars by breaking down the collagen forming the scar tissue.
It has not been noted to break down healthy collagen, nor to remove the
scar entirely.

The phrase, breaks down collagen caught my attention.

Does this mean defective or mal-formed collagen or all collagen?

Collagen is one of the things I am trying to study because so many friends
have collapsing disk and bone problems.

I understand your statement to mean the cyst is fully encapsulated with
collagen. Likely this is collagen out of place or in some way defective
 collagen.
