CSsilver wire durability

Folks, My first attempt in communicating. After 2 years of operation and some 
36 gallons CS at 10 to 12 ppm, my original #14 gage wire [ .063 inches dia. 
has been reduced to .052 inches dia ] about 17.5 % loss of dia., area and 
volume. Batteries still ok, usually run on 120 vac backup.

Marshalee-- youre recent reply to a newbie on how to get started with a very 
simple machine was marvelous, direct and straight to the point withouta lot

17.5% loss in diameter is about 32% loss of volume.  The volume of a cylinder
varies to the square of the diameter.
