Oops, I meant for this to go to the list! ----- Original Message ----- From: Ruth Bertella To: dingyun...@att.net Sent: Wednesday, July 15, 2009 5:00 PM Subject: Re: CS>Eye Health Research Report
Hey Helen, The total parts should add up to ten. So, 5% would be 1/2 part DMSO and 9 1/2 parts of CS. The parts can be any units of measure, such as teaspoons, ounces, or whatever (even a baby food jar, bottle cap, dropperfuls, etc.) so long as they add up to ten. Keep that in mind when determining how much you want to make up at one time and deciding what your 'measuring tool' is cause you're gonna end up with ten times the amount of what your measuring tool is. Oh yeah, and always add the DMSO to the CS or distilled water. This has something to do with heat exchange and I'm not technically qualified to try and explain that. >grin< But you always add the chemical to the water. Hope this helps and isn't too foncusing! What measurement/tool one can develop in exact 5% DMSO/95% CS? I am not into science. Helen
