Re: CS>Blue Senator Candidate...

2002-10-24 Thread SilverMedicine.org
One thing I almost forgot to mention:

Stan does have a copy of a video tape recording of the event, and he states
that the "blue" is not pronounced in the video.

I don't know if the difference has to do with the flash used on the camera,
the digital rendering, the light settings, the color balancing, or all of
the above...

Heck, all you'd have to do to make somebody look really wierd with my
el-cheapo digital camera is take a shot in daylight, tungsten light, or
flourescent light, and have the color balance set to something
different. Always happens by accident. At least some combinations will
turn things overwhelmingly blue...

Not "tampered with" my *ss.

Be well,

RE: CS>Blue Senator Candidate...

2002-10-25 Thread James Osbourne, Holmes
I was a professional still, cine, and video photographer for about 20 years.
It does not look like color temperature imbalance to me, but I only very
briefly viewed the image. It could have been manipulated at any point in
the chain of transmission.

Greetings, all...

Although I swore I wouldn't bother Stan Jones, after reading an email
response by silverfacts, I sent an email to Stan.

Stan informed me that he wrote that the initial photographs "may have been"
altered. After doing so, he contacted the photographer who took the
particular shot in question. After speaking to the photographer, Stan
states that he is convinced that the photos were not altered.

The difference in different photos would thereby be attributed to either
different lighting or digital rendering ( total light/color balance ).

Kind Regards,

Jason
