Yes it will build up in various organs, but the elimination rate for EIS / CS is also quite fast and very close to 100%. If you live to be 300 years old and drink a quart a day at 20 PPM, you might have some degree of a problem. [OK, that might be an exaggeration...but then, maybe not] I wouldn't try that with MSP , silver nitrate, citrate or acetate which can be in the thousands of PPM and deposit much more readily. Even then 'smurfdom' is much more of a concern that any harmful levels in the liver [Agyria] which, aside from appearances, is generally considered to be medically harmless. Most silver preparations in the health food store are MSP. [Mild Silver Protein] Sometimes it even says so in the fine print. If you start turning blue after a 100 years or so...stop. I don't think anyone has ever died from having a shiny liver. Hi Debbie, I believe that properly made CS is safe for Anyone, of Any age or size, for Any problem or condition taking Any kind of medication or treatment at any dose daily for many years without Any side reactions. Safe to take up to 1/2 gallon daily (I don't recommend this large amount--wasteful, but safe) in divided doses--the only side reaction if you have a bad infection, is a Herxheimer reaction until the stool bladder can eliminate the killed pathogens. I take my first dose in the morning: 1 oz 10ppm CS + 2 oz Gatorade (as an electrolyte which can take CS deeper into body tissues than CS can go alone) in a juice glass--holding a mouthful in mouth for 2 minutes, then swallow repeat until glass is empty. Holding each dose in mouth for 2 minutes, allows many CS colloids to be absorbed under tongue directly into the blood stream seeking pathogens to kill, then swallow CS to be digested through the system. After the first dose, I use CS alone if I feel something coming on, I recommend taking a mouthful every 30 minutes to 1 hour thruout the day till you no longer feel the threat. I don't know, I have no reason to suspect that it does. But if it is totally harmless, and kills pathogens, then should one concern themselves with it depositing in the liver, if it does? Someone need to give the lady in the store some advise Know your product. Silver DOES NOT build up anywhere in the body. It is completely eliminated in 5 days.
