Re: CS>Mole removal with Garlic to the area
Indelible ink and silver nitrate permanently stains the outer layers of skin. Those layers aren't permananent. It's highly unlikely that you can get silver oxide [the black stuff] deep enough to make a tattoo without using a needle. I'd say there a near zero chance of "agyria" from that route. Debbie, I'd be very careful with that! Especially if it's in a cosmetically important part of the body, such as hands or face... I would expect that concentration of silver to pose a serious risk of tatooing the area with localized agyria. I have no experience in this regard, but the idea definitely worries me, especially concerning a child. Repeated applications of regular CS plus DMSO on gauze pads ought to be effective against warts, without the risk of permanent staining of the skin. Be well, Mike D. When I experimented with the rod goo on wounds on my hand, it stained the flesh and fingernail brown or sepia, but did fade or grow out over time. Months in the case of the fingernail. Rowena

Just be careful and don't leave the garlic on too long, that is, if you are talking about putting a piece of raw garlic on it. I tried that, and didn't know how long to leave it, so after 24 hours I had a big raw hole in my flesh, still have the scar, too. sol Deborah Gerard wrote: I was just reading the other day about putting garlic directly on the mole or wart for that matterdo a google search on moles and garlic and all kinds of stuff comes up Hope all you wonderful helpful people are having a great day :) Debbie -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Re: CS>Mole removal with Garlic to the area
Not a concern. I've been doing this since I started making/using CS ('94 or '95) and see absolutely no evidence of agyria. Silver jewelry poses no cosmetic problems does it? (NOTE: For the information of the literal minded on the list, this is a rhetorical question...) George >I'd be very careful with that!
