jale's new vid
hey sloannet kids, so i saw jale's jesus loves me vid on the wedge yesterday. it consists of shots of an amusement park, and eve in extreme close-up black and white. and so i am wondering: where was the rest of the band? is there some allusion that i'm missing? jeez. love, lisa c-w.
much east
hey kids! so did everyone (anyone?) see much east last night? cuz at the end they had a little bit of sloan playing torn, and some other bands, and a leetle interview with peter rowan (i think). anyways, i just want to comment on the new coif of mr. murphy: it looks kinda ian-stone-roses-esque dontcha think? and yes i'm as eager as siz to read all of those pop-ex reviews purlees. viva sloan! :) lisa c-w.
so
so, i heard a little while ago that someone with a name that sounds something like, umm mae jerguson is like co-manager of some band whose name sounds kinda like umm, the insleds. it's a cool and neat-o king-fax or hali-ston connection. :) have a nice lunch, la la la, lisa c-w.
weird stuff
hi, something rilly weird happened to me yesterday, and i was wondering if anyone can figure out an explanation: i was making a tape, and i was recording maraya by thrush hermit off of a 7 inch onto a cassette. anyways near the end of the song, i heard a voice it was like an interrupted transmission or something. i wasn't sure if they came from outside or what. anyways, when i played back the tape later on i heard that same male voice recorded onto the cassette. it said something rude and then ya, i was just wondering when i was gonna get paid, eh? it was over top of the music and static-y. i listened to the seven-inch again because i'd never heard those voices before and they weren't there. i'm rilly spooked. can someone tell me if it's possible for a turntable to pick up something like a cell-phone? or, can someone lend me a manual on exorcism? thanks, lisa c-w.
