I have a P300/3 here which is destined to be put out in the next council
cleanup in a couple of weeks. I don't know whether the PSU fits the
P400/6, but it's yours if you want it.

Hi John,

Has the case got 2 or 3 card slots? If its a 3 then its no good to me, but if
its a 2 slot then the p/s will fit. If so what is your location?

RE: [SLUG] Re: Linux netbook?

2009-04-24 Thread Meijer, Luke
Yea I have seen ones where they replace the outer casing with something like
'16G' but really its only 2G.

It's the risk you take with online purchases I guess, it is a big problem with
the memory cards used in the Sony PSP consoles.

Oh, the other issue I encountered was the original SD card I used was
a fake --- it purported to be a LENXS 16G card, but actually appeared
to be an 8G card with firmware bodged up to look like 16G. There are
apparently a lot of such cards on the market --- caveat emptor.

[SLUG] Thank you SLUG

2009-04-24 Thread Kyle
I've had a minor annoyance with my one of my machines for a few weeks
now, but it didn't bother me enough to do anything about it. It was just
one of those nags. So this morning when I couldn't sleep, I decided to
ask SLUG for advice.

I proceeded to write out this longish email explaining the problem. As I
wrote new ideas came to mind. So, I'd go away, check that, come back
write some more, rephrase it all, think of something else and start the
whole process over.

In the end, I figured it out, resolved it well enough and learnt
something in the process.

So, I just wanted to say thanks for helping me out again SLUG. And you
did it all in your sleep.

Kind Regards

Kyle
