Seemingly easy question, but it's not that simple. I have a text file which is from a legacy system. It's actually print data.
________________________________________________________________________________ | | | SALES - SUPPLIERX FOR MONTH |161-2-1-N |UPDATE SALES|H.G ________________________________________________________________________________ | | | SALES - SUPPLIERY MONTH REPORT |161-2-2-Y-S |PRT101.PRG |G.G ________________________________________________________________________________ Anyway, the document is full of mixed <cr> and <cr+lf> data. I need to preserve the 'delicate' mix and edit the file. Every time I save it in geany, it sanitises the line endings rendering the file useless.
