Open source group fires off at SCO
Industry cluster Open Source Victoria (OSV) has filed a complaint with
the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) against the
SCO Group, in response to the vendors ongoing requests for licence fees
from Linux users.
For what it is worth I also issued a complaint for false advertising.
SCO says no-one offers indemnification and there are ways of getting
it. There is even insurance policies (Groklaw.net has details).
I got a form response, they are looking into it and the IP issue is very
complex. ACCC might get back to you.
