[SLUG] NTPD behind a masquerade
Sluggers, I've got a linux box on a private network behind another Linux box acting as a firewall and masquerading outbound connections. Trouble is I can't seem to get ntpd working on the inside machine (It's going fine on the outside box). Funny thing is ntpdate works fine but ntpd doesn't seem to synchronise the machines clock. Trying to sync with stratum 1 servers is the problem. Check pool.ntp.org. Err don't think I'm trying to do that, my config is; server 0.pool.ntp.org server 1.pool.ntp.org server 2.pool.ntp.org -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html
