[SLUG] Annodex codefest

2007-06-07 Thread Silvia Pfeiffer

ANNOUNCEMENT: Annodex Code Fest
===

The Annodex Association and CSIRO are organising a codefest In
anticipation of the release of the new cross-platform Annodex Plugin.

liboggplay is a library that will ultimately enable Firefox to play
Annodex natively without a need to install anything. It is a stable,
cross-platform library and we challenge you to find bugs and learn
about how to include it into desktop web applications.

The details are:

When: Saturday 16th June, from 10:00 am
Where: Macquarie University Music Department, rm 107 (building W6A) campus map

At 7:00pm, we'll wrap up and move on to the Ranch for some post-event
celebrations.

For any enquiries, please contact Shane Stephens (shane.stephens at gmail.com).

From what I understand it's not a specific annodex hackfest but more of
 a general video thing.

If you want to hack on Annodex that would be cool though :)

James,

From the programme that is my understanding too. Thanks. I only used the
name as that is what I understood the name to be.

So changing it around: What software are we looking at on Saturday so I
have it with me?

I want to load it tonight as I'll be on a train at 7:36am.

Regards,

Ashley

flumotion, icecast, annodex, tools for all the xiph-related codecs, and a
healthy dose of gstreamer, video editors, audio editors, players, etc.

PHP, when it first came out, didn't really have any merits, and many
claim it still doesn't, but it filled a void where a simple tool to
perform a simple task was needed. - Rasmus Lerdorf
