My Inspiron 3700 recently took some water damage, tis about 3 years old now, and Dell want to take my first-born (in advance) to repair it :-)
The MB is fried, every thing else looks fine.. So does anyone or indeed anyone's company have old Inspiron or Latitude of this vintage that are fit for the skip but may have a working motherboard?, PII Celeron 433 is my one, but I think dell have pretty much used the same MB for a large amount of the Inspiron 3xxx, 4xxx and some of the latitude range... Maybe someone has one where an axe fell through the flat panel or the hard drive blew up but the motherboard is still fine??
