Any more details or source code about this mini dhcp server? Is it configurable?

Re: [smartos-discuss] accessing .zfs/snapshot via lofs in an lxzone

Hi All
I am trying to access .zfs/snapshot from within an lxzone (on omnios)
while I can cd into the snapshot directory, all access to the actual
snapshots is blocked.

no 'stat' no 'chdir' ... I always get 'operation not permitted'

Hi Tobi,

I have a spare time slot this weekend, so...

If you can give me the instructions for creating this lxzone on omnios,
including
the specific data volume if applicable, I am happy to have a look at the
problem

for you.

is this

* something configurable ?
* a bug in the omnios port of lx zones ?
* a bug in lx zones ?
* ...

My plan would be along the lines of seeing what I can find in the omnios
environment and then attempting to reproduce the problem on SmartOS.

Over to you ...

Paul (also in Aargau)
