The George Washington University's physician group Medical
Faculty Associates (MFA) is looking for 2 paramedics for immediate, temporary
service. The details of the description of work remain under development
but at this point are as follows:* 2 paramedics or PA's (PA pay
will be appropriately higher than listed in this announcement)*
must hold a state certification or national registry at Paramedic
level* experience and ability to perform prehospital service in a
relatively self directed manner - previous paramedic street experience
necessary* 30 day contract* possibility of
additional extensions up to 30 days at a time up to 6 months*
depart ASAP, not later than the end of this week or first of next week (09 - 12
Sep05)* service to be provided on petroleum company ships off
shore in the Gulf of Mexico* service will be primarily for
hurricane Katrina victims and ship personnel* work is 24/7 -
little down time, no shore leave for 30 days.* no benefits other
than SS, workman's comp* $10,000.00 for 30 day
contract* all expenses, travel, etc paid from your location and
back* all food, housing expenses paid on siteOther details
