Re: [RCSE] Re: [RCSE]:Is it leagle?

1999-10-28 Thread Chanyiukwong

By the way, I have been thinking of the end section of the winch line to be
high start tube with a over stretch limiting line at its hollow core (or
simply outside). This allow experimenting without having to swap the whole
drum of line. But then the tube drag become the problem. :-)

Once more, it is leagle to use stretching line?

The other possible solution out of the finding that stretching lines are
good for high starting might be to try and put a piece ouf standard
bungee-rubber into the winchline. Has anyone ever tryed that (should become
a high performance bungee whinch shootoutlaunch)

[RCSE] Storing Nicads

1999-10-28 Thread RICHSHILL

How to store Nicads? The references I've read said to store them discharged.
I look forward to other opinions.

Rich,

I store mine on continuous trickle on my Alpha 4 so they are always ready to
go fly if I get a chance. Just another opinion.

In California we fly at cliffs overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean,
and in PA they are flying at landfills...

Need I say more?
