[RCSE] Making a set of weights.
Page 40 of File #3 of the GENIE CD details how to make a very useful set of weights from 1" square steel tubing. This is accessible now at http://monkeytumble.com. Click on the GENIE square, then File #3 and go to page 40. While you are in there, look at the Gallery file to see the pic of the big GENIE recently finished by Ed Jennings of Las Vegas.
Re: [RCSE] Icon question/thanks
Thanks for the info. -- - Original Message - DATE: Thu, 03 Jun 2004 02:28:21 From: marta zavala [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: I have a F3J Icon. Was wondering about landing flap settings. Do any of you Icon flyers use reverse crow /slight TE camber on your landing approach? Ive used this on other some planes and it seemed to help the plane float in a little better/slower on landing. [RCSE] Thermals near the seaside
Hi! The field that I'm using is located quite close to the sea (8 km). I have noticed that even on a very good days, the clouds appear to be much bigger and last much longer further away from sea. What is your experience? Are the thermals stronger away from sea? Arne RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
