[RCSE] TNT

2004-09-09 Thread RegDave
<>

And another good thing about TNT - it's the same weekend as the OU-Texas
football game. Lots of hot air generated for thermals. Much weeping and gnashing
(usually by Texans). The new field is great and Miss Ellie's Deli (on site)
makes a fine box lunch.

Those boys even got an outhouse!

[RCSE] FS: Right Tempest Wing (and extras...)

2004-09-09 Thread Richard Hanschu
Sorry if this is a repeat. Posting from the Yahoo interface didn't seem
to get through.

***
For Sale best offer: Undamaged right Tempest Wing. Green with dark
purple bottom.
Buy the wing for a reasonable price and I will throw into the box a
undamaged right vtail (all green), a damaged but repairable left vtail
and a repairable fuze with nosecone and attached skeg and carbon joiner
rod. The fuze is cleanly broken just aft of the TE with some torsion
cracks at the vtail end. Unfortunately, the aircraft suffered a
catastrophic failure during a high speed pass when the left wing
exploded. Right wing came down without a scratch. Buyer pays shipping
method of choice in original shipping box.

Guys:

One of our RCSE correspondents used to refer to thermal soaring as "sky
fishing" --- or something close to that. I am doing a short article for
a magazine. Anybody recall who that was, so I can give him the credit or
blame as the case may be?

2004-09-09 Thread Jerry Krainock
Gentlemen
The first shipment of Charms should be here about September 21st , so
in order to get them out to the country where people can fly and see
them, Im going to have an introductory sale for this first shipment.
The price will be $ 525.00. Charm is a model designed here and built by
Ukrainian craftsmen for American RES competition.
You can see the Prototype here: http://www.netmeister.net/~jerry
For those of you who have already ordered Charm, good news for you as
you will get the lower price.
Photon II and Charm are available now. By Christmas I hope to have the
E-Charm available and possibly, the next model. Ion will be an entry
level high performance DLG with a price (hopefully) under $ 200.00.
