Re: [RCSE] RCM ??? Are they still around?
The latest one that I've seen in any of the book stores and hobby shops is the June issue. Hope they're still around. Really like the magazine. Word on the net is that they are having some difficulties and may be closing up. It doesn't sound definite yet, but doesn't sound good. [RCSE] good guy report
I've had some recent dealings with Terry at http://www.moreglue.com after meeting with him at the NATS this summer. I'd like to say that he went way beyond the call of duty making sure I was happy with my order, and went out of his way to handle some special requests I made. Hope we can all give him some support in his business. Jon Stone RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. Ray, I wished you would leave the contests Sat/Sun, just so I do not have to use vacation to go in 06. [RCSE] US F3J Team Selection Standings
Day one was a killer. Typical variable Colorado air. Lots of lift, lots of sink and plenty in between. Much pain was doled out in the early rounds. Im too tired to do more than post the results, so for those who care you can see the day 1 standings at: http://www.rmsadenver.com/Scores/2005/f3jts/totals.htm Enjoy - Jim Jim Monaco President - Rocky Mountain Soaring Association Denver, CO http://www.rmsadenver.com
[RCSE] Tragi 705 flap linkage ?
Hi, Does anyone have some info they could share with me on the right combo to get 90% flap throw, i'm close but can't find that magic combination. These silicone hinges have alot of resistant once you get to 70%. Like output shaft forward or aft in the pocket, any bends in rod, servo arm length, ect... I'm using JR368 servo. thanks, Dave Hauch www.git-r-built.com RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. Re: [RCSE] Tragi 705 flap linkage (correction)
Yes, sorry I meant 90 degrees. I've never had a plane yet i haven't been able to get 90 degrees one way or another. I would rather have the 90 and have the option of using it or not. dave hauch I assume you're talking degrees and not percent... Why 90 deg flaps? 70 seems plenty. I've not found a need for more than that on any application.
