[RCSE] Multiplex field box in USA?

2005-11-29 Thread Jim Laurel
Does anyone know where I could purchase one of these field boxes in
the USA? They seem to pop up once in a while but I don't see any
vendors selling them. I'm looking for the smaller of the two.

Thanks! -Jim

[RCSE] Re: Soaring V1 #6759

2005-11-29 Thread Jeff Thompson
If you don't have any luck buying one in the U.S., I'd recommend
ordering one from Punctilio Modelspot in London--I wanted a weather
shield for my Evo's Spacebox (TX tray;) it wasn't sold in the U.S., but
I got it quickly and relatively inexpensively from them.

[RCSE] Rick Hallett update

2005-11-29 Thread Anker Berg-Sonne

I got an update on Rick Hallett yesterday.

He is well into radiation therapy and is emotionally at a low point.
If you would like to give him some encouragement either as an email,
or by sending him a card, I am sure he will appreciate hearing from you.

If you need his email address or postal address, let me know.

Anker

Re: [RCSE] any thoughts on the AMA NATS 2005 CD?

Jim
I would rather see a CD of all your pictures in one collection.
How about it?

In any case -- at least they aren't asking me to pay for it ;)

RE: [RCSE] Multiplex field box in USA?

2005-11-29 Thread glide
It's a cool box. I have the large one with the drawers that swing out. I
used to bring it with me when I go flying but it got pretty heavy with all
my tools, instruments (meter, etc.) and spare parts. Now it keeps
everything organized at home grin.

Hope you find one.

Aloha to all on RCSE,

Al Battad - AMA #506981

Re: [RCSE] any thoughts on the AMA NATS 2005 CD?

2005-11-29 Thread James V. Bacus

Thanks Ed, I appreciate that.

I would have contributed my pictures to a AMA NATS 2005 CD if anyone had
asked me, I have a ton of pictures and video. I don't know if other Nats
photographers had the opportunity do that or not. I still haven't seen
the CD because I haven't received one yet.

I will eventually blog the Nats and put all the photos I have online to
share with everyone. I just haven't got there yet, I am a bit behind.

I know it's history, but I did just blog OVSS #3 if anyone wants to
remember it...

I will slowly catch up on the summers events.
