[RCSE] CSS 1st Wood - Local Boys Win
My hats off to Barry Andersen and Paul Siegel for each inking a LSF Level V win on their pristine blue vouchers at this weekends Cincinnati Soaring Society Memory Contest. A cadre of hot pilots from the SOAR club attempted to foil the occasion, but local knowledge prevailed. Barry took honors on Saturday using his trusty Icon and today, Paul (member of the plane of the month club) dusted everyone with his Supra!!! Now is the plane or the pilot Just where was J.B. to make it tougher on these guys? We sure did miss Barney this weekend. Now Barry and Paul are both making plans for 8 hour bladder control at Brookville. LOL Big thanks for all who made the trek to Cincinnati this weekend. The weather was excellent and conditions were challenging at times. Its a great way to start of the OVSS season Steve Siebenaler Cincinnati, Ohio USA
[RCSE] CSS 1st Wood - Carbon Supra Wins
Paul (member of the “plane of the month club”) dusted everyone with his Supra!!! Now is the “plane” or the “pilot” While Paul's Carbon Supra is a light weight compared to mine (heaviest in the world!), after seeing mine fly yesterday, he dug his out and gave it a few flies. Seems like the Carbon isjust the 'right' weight. At least for conditions today in Cincy. I need a LSF5 win or two myself so please guys keep working on getting the weight down on your Supras! Some guys have been cutting lightening circles out of their stabs and rudders, then covering the holes with silk and dope...heard you can get the Standard Supra down into the 50's if you really work at it...and please please keep working at itlike I said I need a couple of LSF 5 wins :-)Gordy Switching my removable rudder bolts from 6/32 aluminum bolts to 1/4-20 steel hex head bolts with lock washers. Don't even try to catch up to my Supra's weight!
[RCSE] Soaring Masters Registration....hope you ain't too late!
Jim McCarthy and I were chatting up the topic and he mentioned that the slots are filling up incredibly fast. The JW's and DPs are a given, but there are also the Turkish, Norwegian and German contingent coming...then the 'sponsors-boys' are automatically slotted, that doesn't leave a lot left. I got to tell you guys, IF you have been 'planning' on sending in your registration, you HAD better do it tomorrow! And here's another onemotels are packing up around there too. Git'r Done! Gordy

Re: [RCSE] Looking for a Futaba Shift Hitec SuperSlim Rx
Edgar You can use an Electron 6 with your 12Z or 14MZ and a Y cord for power. Just set the channels to 1 2 3 4 5 6 and go. I just set up a Big Bird from USA that way and works perfect.
