[RCSE] Congrats to Johnny Berlin's Level V Goal and Return today
Congrats to Johnny for completing his LSF Level V Goal and return Today Johnny was up to the Traverse City LIFT Field this weekend and attempted the Level V Goal and Return Sat, Sun, and was successful today. It's a tuff course up here but can be done when things work right and he got out on course today about the only time the air on the whole course was working and he flew it expertly. The condition changed just as finished and no other attempt could be made by the other level 4's. Crew included Harry DeBoer, Larry Jefferys, Butch's spirit, and myself, and Peter Baumeler & LeeAnn support at the field and Joe Riley a (new soaring) pilot riding shotgun for the experience. [RCSE] Icon...& parts...
Well, luckily it isn't me, but I have some buddies who have had some rough
luck lately. As a result, one is looking for an Icon center panel, the
other an Icon (used).
Anyone have a toasted one ('cept for the center panel), or have moved on
from the "passe" Icon to a Supra or Pike, and looking to sell your
Icon? Drop me a note with what you have, and how much you want. For some
damned reason I'm always to go-between in stuff like this around here.

Soaring Masters participants, If anyone thought they had a reservation at the Best Value Inn in Muncie you need to check the status of your reservation. If you have a four digit confirmation number you may NOT have a reservation. With new ownership they now use a five digit number. If you used a credit card the reservation MIGHT be keyed to that number. You can use the Hobby Lobby low drag control horn. I got 4 of the same servo bay covers instead of two left and two right. Anyone else have 4 with the bump on the lower right? Will trade two for two.
