[RCSE] Re: F3F in Scotland
In message <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, Ron Russell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes Last of the F3F Summer league is scheduled for this Saturday October 29th. Please try to be at the East Lomond car park 9.30 sharp. We want to get a 10.00 start this time, so that we get plenty rounds in. If we look like heading for more than 10 we will make a second comp out of the rest of the day, different flying order etc. Oh yeah, that is if the weather is on our side. If it is not then please be prepared to fly on the flat, bring yer winch. There are still a few who have NOT got their postal scores in. Our thermal field runs from SW/ NE, I will have details with me about where it is but if we go the 5 miles in convoy no one will get lost, I hope. RE: [RCSE] De-electrifying Sailplanes
You mentioned the Graphite, but a Silent Dream 2.0 - 2.5 would be a good choice, also. The nice thing about the FVK stuff is you can get electric and sailplane components; it would not be a big trick to have one set of wings and 2 fuses, one electric and one not. If nothing else, you could always get the second fuse later and only have to set up the RX, battery, and tail servos. Makes for a compact, flexible pair of planes. Just a thought, it's a good flying ship either way. Brent RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
