full scale simulator that does (X-Plane).

[RCSE] YouTube Soaring Video Collection

2008-02-22 Thread Paul Naton
A useful contribution..

I have a large collection of videos on YouTube that I think you all would like
to see.

I have some trailers posted as well as snippets from the how-to series and
various gliding shorts, even some
hot electric 3-D flying.

http://youtube.com/profile_videos?user=pnaton

The trailers have been updated with much higher rez versions that play nice.

Waste some time, check em out and subscribe, I put new videos up every week or
so
from the vast RCA film archives.

I have posted a few pictures of Arthur's model Hawk (actually a Turkey
Vulture) flying at the SWC. The pictures are provided by John Hart. Thanks
John.

And thanks to Arthur for the time and attention to detail that produced
a very life like flying model. Even some real birds thought is was worth a

Hey those things were the bomb, and I missed finding out where I might get
one. I hate toy electric planes but those things really got my attention.

Anyone know who makes em? And were those stock?

Thanks

[RCSE] March 2008 RC Soaring Digest

2008-02-22 Thread Bill & Bunny Kuhlman

We're pleased to announce the March 2008 issue of RC Soaring Digest
is now available for downloading from the RCSD web site
. The issue highlights are now
available at .

This issue has 62 pages and is 12.3 MB in size.

If you are using a dial-up connection and desire a smaller RCSD PDF,
consider downloading the highly compressed version of this issue
(about 3.9 MB) from the RCSoaringDigest Yahoo! groups Files section.
The image quality is reduced, but download time is significantly
less. You must be a member of the RCSoaringDigest Yahoo! group to
download these compressed PDFs.

If you're using a broad-band connection, you may want to download the
"original" high quality PDF of this issue (25.6 MB) from the RC
Soaring Digest web site
.

In the interests of bandwidth and server usage, we ask that you
download only ONE version of each monthly issue from the RC Soaring
Digest web site. That is, download either the "normal" size issue
from the main or highlights page link, or download the "full size"
version from folder - not both.

Thanks for your continued readership!
