He mounted a video camera on his Vandal unlimited ship and we shot some
footage yesterday flying.

And a color music Super AVA video of me hand launching it into a thermal.

There is TRULY no place... like cloud base! Buzz is absolutely correct.
It's cool to be at or near redline just off the deck, pull up, and come
around for your landing... after hearing "Good finish, Tango Echo." With
the advent of GPS, you don't hear that anymore...

Hi Josh

The webpage lists 6 frequency channels that are prohibited. Just
curious as to why?

BTW, your green Pike S is still flying well

2008-03-17 Thread trtickracer50

Hi Tom,

I have a new Highlander I planning on building, but have lost the
instructions. Could you still supply a copy of those? I would really
appreciate it. I have had this plane for several years and would like to
get it flying.

Thank you,

Sean

[RCSE] April 2008 RC Soaring Digest

2008-03-17 Thread Bill & Bunny Kuhlman

We're pleased to announce the April 2008 issue of RC Soaring Digest
is now available for downloading from the RCSD web site
. The issue highlights are now
available at .

This issue has 54 pages and is 10.7 MB in size.

If you are using a dial-up connection and desire a smaller RCSD PDF,
consider downloading the highly compressed version of this issue
(about 3.5 MB) from the RCSoaringDigest Yahoo! groups Files section.
The image quality is reduced, but download time is significantly
less. You must be a member of the RCSoaringDigest Yahoo! group to
download these compressed PDFs.

If you're using a broad-band connection, you may want to download the
"original" high quality PDF of this issue (21.4 MB) from the RC
Soaring Digest web site
.

In the interests of bandwidth and server usage, we ask that you
download only ONE version of each monthly issue from the RC Soaring
Digest web site. That is, download either the "normal" size issue
from the main or highlights page link, or download the "full size"
version from folder - not both.

Thanks for your continued readership!

2008-03-17 Thread GordySoar
DP, Skip M, Darwin Barry, George Joy, Mike Lee, John Erickson's warping 35
pointer, Marauder stories, Merrill Brady boxed for shipping!

Did I mention fantastic photos, Winch Master Skip Richards had his camera's
lens in focus for some launches, landings and smiles.

The color leaps off the pages for a photo trip through two days of the first
major contest of the year..and one you will intimately know the history
of..yes there is actually an article on its beginnings and development!

This issue has seriously raised the bar for you guys planning on panning
events in the future

Did I mention...WOW factor?

Great job Bill and Bunny!
