RE: Was [RCSE] Charging NiMh's with Sirius Pro Charger? is what's thereal deal, George
I have been charging Sanyo 1600 mah NiMh's for over 9 months without failure. All my packs check out at over 1600 mah whe discharged on Sirius's discharger. Plain and simple, I don't need George's confirmation, I have created my own. Jeff Naber RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. RE: [RCSE] JR 610 receivers
I can tell you the "new" 610M works. I have one flying in a Razor. No range or glitch problems at all. If it was going to glitch, it would in an electric. Jeff Naber RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. Send "subscribe" and "unsubscribe" requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: [RCSE] Stylus or JR 8103
A Profi 4000 is nice, probably way overkill and costs a ton. Re: [RCSE] Which higher-end computer TX?
I would not count out the Stylus due to the ant. ball or the non-digital trims. I speak from experience. I had a Futaba 9ZAP for 5 years I sold to get the Stylus. I feel for sailplanes it is far better. I thought at first I would die without the digital trims, but I now know how much better the trim memory system is on the Sytlus. It can't be beat. If the ant. ball moves around too much for you, glue it in one place with CA. Jeff Naber RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. Re: [RCSE] Aero-Model Experience?
I just ordered an Esprit from Sean and he was very helpful and imformative. My friend has ordered two Esprits in the recent past and the service has been excellent. The Mueller product is supreme. I would not hesitate to order from Aero-Model. Jeff Naber RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. Send "subscribe" and "unsubscribe" requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: [RCSE] Travel Cases ANSWER
Another note on Pack-lite boxes: you need to give them the interior dimensions you want your box. Also tell them if you want a hinged top on a loose top. Re: [RCSE] Why Krylon?
Personally, I feel that Krylon is just what it is; cheap paint. I have used epoxy paints such as K&B and HobbyPoxy for twenty years and they are hard to beat. I have also used some catalyzed car enamels in recent years and they are beautiful paints, but you need to be careful with them due to toxicity. I just finished repairing an Esprit fuse after a crash and painted the afflicted area with K&B, sanded it, rubbed it out, and you can not tell its not part of the molded in paint. Another beauty of epoxy paints is thier durability. You can use solvent to clean them with and not mar the finish. The next set of mylars I use for a bagged wing will be done with epoxy instead of Krylon. Haven't tried that yet, but expect great results.
