[RCSE] 2005 IHLGF June 5 6

2005-01-27 Thread Craig D. Allen

Hello,

As the Official International Pilot Committee Chairman of the 2005
IHLGF. I would like to personally invite any and all pilots no
matter were you live, to please consider coming to beautiful San
Diego Ca. June 5 6 to participate in the 12th annual International
Hand Launch Glider Festival. Here is your chance to fly with the
best pilots in the world.. I will be setting up shade structures
with plenty of chairs and refreshments for all that want them. All
you have to do is show up with your plane and have a great time. The
IHLGF it is the best-run contest period! Even if you come in last
like I did my first year, you will have a great time.

With the dollar at all time lows against most major currencies a
trip to the U.S. is so cheap we are almost giving the country away.
I would love to see the New Zealand gang ( Team Z) come out in
force again this year and maybe drag a few Australians with them. I
challenge you Europeans to come and show us what you got. It would
be wonderful to have an international fly off this year.

I am willing to help out in anyway I can to entice you come
participate in this amazing event. How about some slope soaring at
world famous Torrey Pines or DSing at Parker MountainÂ… Maybe a trip
to the San Diego Zoo or Sea World.. Bring the whole family and make
it a once in the lifetime vacation.

If you have any questions or need any help setting up your trip
please feel free to contact me.

Hey Craig, I am not an international pilot (although I do consider
myself rather worldly!), but am planning on attending the contest
this year. According to my calendar, June 5 and 6 2005 are a Sunday
and Monday.

Did you mean June 4 and 5, Saturday and Sunday?

Looking forward to it.

..
