[RCSE] Nats Suggestion
I like the way the CASL runs the Southwest Classic. There, everybody enters Unlimited reguardless of what class model they are flying. All classes fly together and at the end of the contest, trophies are awarded to the top flyers in the various classes. Last year, the same model won 2-meter and placed second in Unlimited. If the Nats were run that way, we could have 4 days of flying Unlimited, 2-meter, and RES. No reason to fly all the Unlimited together, 2-meter together, and RES together. Visalia does it that way too except that you can only fly in one class. RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. Send subscribe and unsubscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[RCSE] A Suggestion...
Just a suggestion... If you haven't been receiving messages from this exchange and you want to determine if the list is down or if you have been dropped for some reason, before sending a "Test" message go to http://www.egroups.com/list/soaring/ and see if messages are appearing there. If they are, you've been dropped. If no messages are appearing there then the list is down and there is no need to send a "Test" message. It worked for me :) Just a suggestion... How about one better -- just keep looking at the link above, and see if the number of messages is changing? Or see if anything newer is posted there; if not, save everyone the trouble of having to delete all of the test messages. -- Keith RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
