Phil,

I guess I want to know the condition of the Tx, how old and any other bothersome questions I should probably be asking. Generally, I hope it is not as abused as some of my slope planes,

Hi Eric...
Well lets see...I got the tranny from Tim Rendaud as a backup for D.P. when he went to Romainia {sp?} for an F3B worlds. it was new that year...so that was 8 years ago.
As for abuse...well... no, it was never abused nor dragged thru the mud. ALL functions are perfect. The outside of the tranny is still in good shape. The chrome plating on the back has been rubbed off in various places.
What can I say...the thing works and has worked well for many years...And it will no doubt work quite well for another 8 years...

Let me know
