[RCSE] Eclipse programming help

2004-04-03 Thread Kevin Sheen
Hi all,

I'm trying to help a friend setup an Art Hobby Sierra along with a Hitec Eclipse.

I've gone through the manual a couple of times and I can setup crow so that everything
is moving in the right direction but I'm missing something because the flaps are
drooping.

Does anyone know of a link to help me along? I searched google but didn't see
anything obvious. Is anyone using an Eclipse and have any pointers?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions,

Kevin

[RCSE] Eclipse Programming Help

2002-05-25 Thread Ed Berris

So far I'm batting 0. I can't seem to get my Spectra equipped Eclipse to
work with all of my JR 600 receivers. Now, I'm trying to program a simple
three channel glider. Rudder, Elevator and Flaps.

I would like to have the flaps on the throttle stick. I would also like to
program in Flap/elevator compensation so that when I deploy the flaps with
my throttle stick the elevator moves to compensate for the pitch change.

I seems that I cannot program these custom mixes in the Glider mode but I
was able to program in throttle control for flaps by slaving channel 6 to
channel 3 (throttle on a non JR RX) Next, I tried to do a second custom mix
that made channel 3 (throttle) the master and channel 2 the slave. When I
tried to set the percentage of elevator (slave) to throttle (master) I could
not seem to get the slave channel set to the 20% starting point that I
wanted to try.

Is it possible to do the set up I am describing in either the Acro mode or
the Glider mode with this TX. I had no trouble doing this with the JR 347
that I sold but with the Eclipse I stumped.

What am I missing?
Ed
