Gordy.
            how about
me?  I can't fly for nuts, but I can talk with an Aussie accent, and can
wear my Steve Irwin clothes.  Maybe you could loan me one of your models,
so I can try F3J :)  Start digging deep for my sponsorship.  Really
though, I hope you can sponsor JoJo - half his luck.  Although... come
to think of it, I was only 7 places behind you at the Heathcote Cup comp in Feb,
and I was flying a 2m . hm!

Hi Guys,
Okay for you guys who have no interest, feel free...to participate!
:-)
"Why JoJo?"...
This year LSF is featuring F3J at our Nationals, as part of the fun
and to make it even more representative of the World scene of F3J, some of
us are doing what we can to bring Jo Grini over from Norway, Jo's a great guy
and rc soaring contributor (http://www.grini.no/diary) or (http://www.grini.no/), but also
one of the top contest Soaring guys in his part of the world.  This effort
as spurred World F3J Champion David Hobby of Melborne Australia to finagle his
work schedule to conicide and there is a possibility of Colin Lucas
(English Nationals Champ and British F3J World Pilot) attending too...not to
leave out Doug Pike of Canada and ???.
The "Lets bring JoJo to Muncie" started as a fun idea but has now
blossomed into inspiration for international top pilots to take some notice..
However, David is traveling with work, Colin picks a free fight because of
his other flying buddy being an international airline pilot, but Jo...he's on
his own coin...

JR has provided Radios
Barry Kennedy is providing airplanes so that Jo can compete in all
events (some electtric too!)
Modelers who have become email pals with Jo are providing a room
and transportation,,,but the ticket is tough and we are about half way there
with help.

Jim Bacus leads the way with $250 with Larry Jolly and Michael
Volz just behind, donations have come from the East, Midsouth and the
slopes of California
it won't take many of those to get this chiseled down..or just a
little from each of you Nationals pilots and F3J World Team guys.

Jo will bring some fun and interest to F3J in general...and to all
the events.
Send the donations to my address:
