I use Kevlar for my HLG fuse with great success. I just bought a second
batch of cloth and noticed that the old scraps left over are a couple shades
darker than the new kevlar. This is, as I've read, because of breakdown
somewhere at the molecular level. I've also heard that a layer or two of
fiber glass is supposed to prevent this breakdown.

Subject: [RCSE] Kevlar Questions
I am considering building a H/L fuse out of Kevlar. I believe I read
something on the list months ago, that Kevlar has a problem with ultra
violet radiation. Anyone know what happens to the kevlar under these
conditions?
What about the Maple Leaf, I think that is what the all Kevlar model is
called, dose anyone know if they use any type of UV additives to the epoxy
or if there is any such product?
Thanks
