A major thanks to the Cinci Soaring Society and Steve, Bob, Bob, Sam, and
others for all their work in having the first regular weekend contest that
had 40 entries (Saturday) and around 30+ on Sunday. Two completely
different days, Saturday was sunny and a very active atmosphere and Sunday
was overcast and an ultra stable air mass with 13 minute task times that
made for tough work. Steve was a task master, we flew five rounds Saturday
(7,10, 10, 10, 15) and Sunday we flew four rounds (7, 11, 13, 13).

Ed Wilson was the Master flier winning overall honors for the weekend and
Chip Willis won the Sportsman class with the accompanying pair of JR 368
servos for each flier. JR man John Diniz was there making a good showing
this weekend and it is great that the JR guys participate with OVSS during
the season.

The next stop on the OVSS trail is Ft. Wayne, the second second in June and
that is followed by the MVSA contest in St. Louis the next weekend. Go to
www.loftrc.org and www.mvsaclub.com and look up the contest flyers for these
contests.

Soon, Steve Siebenaler will have the first scores for the OVSS '05 on the
CSS website along I am sure with scores from the Memorial Contest. Go to
www.cincinnatisoaring.org and follow the signs.
