[RCSE] RES Scores, see how I raged down the list!

2006-07-28 Thread GordySoar

RES was a ball, and I know better to expect to be more than a bottom ringer
at that game...too many good old sticks at that game.

LOTS of AVAs, some awesome wood ships and Saprano's.

Every round I told my teammates that this would be the round were I'd get
out and bury the crewbut mostly spent each round in the golf cart to
retrieve my plane :-)

Peter Baumeler (the Iron Chef) had his Picolario whistling and flew that
ship like it was a fine instrument. I watched one of his flights start to
finish and have to tell you it was amazing how he followed the ebb and flow of
the air, even down to near the landing zone where he had to stretch the time
some.

But I think I am proudest of my fellow Louisville teammates, who all did
really well today, especially Ed Wilson flying a Saprano. He's a past RES
and Nostalgia Champ and it showed today...but both Ben Wilson and Tony Utley had
sweet rounds.

Glad to be home for sure though.

Maybe next Nats I'll actually have my planes programmed into my TX before I
walk up to the winch line Might help things some :-)
