Hello F5J Electric Soaring Enthusiasts: I want to remind you that the 20004 F5J Electric Soaring World Challenge, sponsored by the Albuquerque Soaring Association, is fast approaching. The event will be held at the Gardner Turf Grass Farm in McIntosh, New Mexico, just 40 minutes East of Albuquerque. The dates for the contest are Oct. 15-17--a wonderful time of year for North Central New Mexico. Friday, October 15 will be reserved for field practice, and competition will be held on Saturday and Sunday, ending at about 1 pm on Sunday. We will have a banquet Saturday night in Moriarty, NM.
We will again be sponsoring three classes of competition--Speed 400, 7-cell, and Unlimited. These will be Limited Motor Run Thermal Precision events. Entrants may compete in any two classes.
